Medieval Fair in Hostalric 2025
to
Castell d'Hostalric Hostalric, 17450 Barcelona

Year after year, Hostalric becomes a medieval town on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of Holy Week, with a large market, characters and activities reminiscent of this period. The Hostalric Medieval Fair aims to commemorate the splendor of the town’s medieval past when it was the center of the extensive Viscounty of Cabrera.
The fair is celebrated in two main locations: the fortress and the town’s medieval quarters. The latter becomes a large crafts and food market, where you can find local cold meats, hand-crafted sweets, cheeses and a variety of food options, as well as other products and attractions. The stalls are located along the Carrer Raval and along the Carrer Major, from the Frares Tower to the Porta de Barcelona.
At the fortress, you will find the medieval camp with an exhibition of artifacts and elements of the period. Guided tours of the monument are offered at a reduced cost.
Activities also play an important part in the fair; throughout the day children’s workshops, theatrical performances, demonstrations of trades and music will take place. You will also have the opportunity to visit the patrimonial elements of the town free of charge. The fair ends with a grand medieval feast and show.
