Kings of Convenience hails from Norway and brings to these warmer climes unique and subtle guitar and vocal duets. Having first met when they were 10, Erlend Øye and Eirik Glambek Bøe know each other inside-out, and this intimacy is reflected in their music. Their quiet and gentle guitar melodies are at the core of their work and their first album Quiet is the New Loud hints at this desire to tone down the decibels to create a unique and personal style which is sure not to leave you indifferent.
