Sant Feliu de Guíxols is a modern tourist town, equipped with some of the most complete sporting facilities in Costa Brava.
Located in the southernmost end of the region, on a small bay that opens up between mountains and hills, Sant Feliu de Guíxols is known for its cork industry and seafaring tradition. Its impressive monumental site is formed by the parish church and Benedictine Monastery with its famous "porta ferrada" (iron door) from which it takes its name.
