If you’re willing to push the boat out for a more sophisticated Sunday brunch head to Zinc Bar in the Hotel Villa Emilia. They offer a wonderful mix from smoked salmon to eggs cooked to your liking. Their Bloody Marys can also be taken upstairs to their impressive roof terrace.

This little piece of New York in Barcelona offers various brunch menus from classic American-style pancakes to their “Oxford Brunch” with bacon and sausage. They also serve a killer Bloody Mary which can be enjoyed inside or out on the terrace.

This is a brunch classic in the Raval. Offering a large variety of dishes (no set menu), the portions are generous and indeed very tasty.

This charming restaurant in the Born is the ideal setting for a lazy Sunday. Picnic offers a decent selection of authentic brunch dishes, although the cocktail list is rather limited. Then again, sometimes there’s just no need to overcomplicate things.

La Federica
6) LA FEDERICA Carrer de Salvà 3
A retro-look eatery that pays attention to detail. Their brunch menu offers the choice of four different types of eggs: the classical Benedict and Florentine, made respectively with bacon and spinach; eggs Joselito are made with jamón, parmesan cheese and grilled tomatoes; whereas the Vikingos bring together salmon, cream cheese and tartar sauce.

Trendy, welcoming and friendly, Federal Café was one of the first brunch places to open in Sant Antoni. There's something for all tastes on the brunch menu, from the croissant sandwich, scrambled eggs, or yoghurt with muesli to their morning burger.
