Experience Montserrat’s Natural Park and its monastery with a passionate local guide in a small group (maximum eight people).
After a 50-minute drive from Barcelona to the beautiful park, your first stop will be Montserrat's Benedictine Abbey, originally built in the 11th century and home to Catalunya's patron saint, the Black Madonna, a strong symbol of spirituality and unity for the local people.
Next, you will ride the funicular railway to the top of the mountain from where you'll enjoy a bird's-eye view of the park. You will see Catalunya spread out before you as far as the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees to the north along the French border.
You will walk along the same paths used by pilgrims hundreds of years ago, surrounded by Montserrat’s fascinating flora and fauna and experience the unique rocky pillars and ravines of this mysterious massif.
