Travel back in time to a local farmhouse in the 19th and 20th centuries. Explore the living and work spaces and discover the how the building materials of the era evolved over time.
Located in what was originally a cloistered convent, the museum poignantly relates the extreme sacrifice carried out by the community of nuns, as well as their relationship with the population of Puigcerdà and Cerdà at the time.
The museum also focuses on the important role played by the medieval monasteries of Puigcerdà (especially the Dominicans and the Franciscans), which lasted until the confiscation of Mendizábal or shortly after (1835-1840).
