The small, but well-stocked and consistently popular Fargas opened its doors in 1827.
A favourite among discerning locals, especially for its truffles and torró (a type of nougat and similar eaten at Christmas), it's worth a visit to see the old-fashioned wood fittings, displays of bonbons and glass jars full of colourful sweets.
Not the cheapest option in the city, but certainly worth checking out for a delicious treat.
