Barcelona Zoo

Barcelona Zoo is located in the Parc de la Ciutadella. Its mission is to share information and research, and to protect species in danger of extinction. Its facilities pay particular attention to endangered species. Set in a shady corner of the city, the zoo is a small biodiversity reserve and home to over 4,000 animals from 400 different species. Different spaces to explore include a terrarium, primates gallery, gorilla area, farm and aviarium. There are lots of services to make sure you have everything you need for a perfect day out with the family, including restaurants, bars, pony rides, a miniature railway, electric cars, shop and picnic areas.
