Zuco 103 is a trio made up of the Brazilian singer Lilian Vieira, the Dutch producer Stekan Kruger and the keyboardist and producer Stefan Schmid. The band invented the Brazilelectro combining Brazilian music, jazz and electronics, but their sound is defined by the different styles they have added: Afro-Cuban, Ethiopian, West-African and dub.
Internationally famous as the creators of the Brazilectro, with their first release Outro Lado in 1999, they rode a roller coaster to the top and they haven't come off since, taking their music to all corners of the world, from North Sea Jazz to Bumbershoot Seattle and from Rock Werchter to Tokyo and Moscow.
Although in the last four years they have focused on other projects, behind the scenes Zuco 103 have continued to create new music and prepare to make an explosive comeback, with the release of a best-of album, and most importantly, with a new album that will take them back to the roots of their Brazilectro sound. In addition, they return to the stage with an irresistible staging full of energy.
