Xavi Torres from Tarragona is undoubtedly one of the great pianists of his generation. In fact, last year he released one of the best albums of 2023, Quarantine Songs. It was created during the pandemic confinement. His music is linked to the reality of the moment “and its struggles,” he adds, “but that speaks for itself,” he clarifies.

Quarantine Songs collects a series of themes that express different feelings: a journey from sadness to hope, from nostalgia to gratitude. He brings his album to Barcelona after premiering it at the Bimhuis in Amsterdam (where he lives), and at the Vitoria Jazz Festival. He is joined on stage with two excellent musicians: Reinier Elizarde "El Negrón" and Andrew Pitarch.
