Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi is best known for these four violin concerti, which capture most sensitively the four seasons of the year. From the singing of birds, to the barking of dogs, to the sound of water trickling in streams, this performance incorporates all the sounds and delights within each season and uses the various parts of the orchestra to their greatest effect.
