The celebrated soprano Victoria de los Ángeles would have turned 100 years old in 2023. This centenary celebration of the Barcelona native is intended as a reminder of the enormous mark she left on the world of opera.

After her studies at the Conservatori Superior del Liceu, she won the Geneva Competition, and her international career quickly let her to perform in acclaimed opera venues such as Paris Opera, the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Royal Opera House in London, the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, the Metropolitan Opera House in New York, the Bayreuth Festival, and others.

This gala, which includes some of the most renowned and outstanding figures from the current operatic scene, revisits the core repertoire of the soprano with a stage design by Vincent Huguet, who will present, onstage, costumes worn by Victòria herself.
