Vicente García is a free talent. Nurtured on a collection of the best soul classics (Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway and Motown's top brass), he is driven by a self-taught eagerness. After performing in the band Calor Urbano, the Dominican has not ceased to garner praise from fellow musicians, especially Juan Luis Guerra, whom he has accompanied on more than one occasion on stage and with whose sensual vocal timbre he has been compared. Alejandro Sanz, Juanes, Maná and Ximena Sariñana are some of the other famous names with whom he has shared performances. His formula, in which soul but also bachata, son, jazz and pop share the limelight, is of an overflowing warmth.
