Cheese lovers have a date in Ribes de Fresser on Easter! Every year on Easter Sunday, Passeig Guimerà in Ribes de Fresser hosts a fair dedicated to Catalan artisan cheeses. Some thirty producers show their specialty cheeses made with cow’s, sheep's and goat's milk using a variety of curing methods. Cakes and tarts made with this popular food are also on display.

Alongside the market, you'll find tastings, contests and children's workshops, in which the youngest can learn everything from making curds to milking a goat. The town restaurants also take the opportunity to offer gourmet menus featuring cheese as the main ingredient.
