Auschwitz commandant Rudolf Höss and his wife Hedwig seek to build a dream life for their family in a house with a garden just outside borders of the concentration camp. A brilliant film portraying the everyday life of a German family and illustrating the banality of evil.
Film will be screened in original German and subtitled in Spanish.
The evening opens at 20:45 with live music from Chino Swingslide and the Sharpts, linking Astor Piazzola's Argentine tango with early-20th-century jazz.
