The White Buffalo, the stage name of American musician and singer-songwriter Jake Smith, is inspired by artists like Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen. Known for using a wide range of pitches within his songs, Smith has an amazing ability to mix folk, country and rock.

Smith has a gift for making people cry and laugh at the same time with his authenticity and wild imagination: "I'm able to put myself in the position of the character, even if it doesn't represent my point of view. I try to take it to a more human level And stay as honest as possible."

His latest studio album, On The Widow's Walk, was released in April 2020 and is a collection of dark emotions produced by Shooter Jennings, who also contributes piano and keys. After six albums and three EPs, this is the most collaborative and organic.
