For the first time, the Grau-Garriga Center is holding an international exhibition with the participation of artists from all over the world with an open eye, beyond the Catalan School of Textile Art.
The pieces in this exhibition come from the collections of the Museo Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo-CA2M and Fundación ARCO, and allow us to trace a history of the use of textiles in contemporary art from from the 1970s to the present.

The strong potential of this artistic expression, its multiple connotations, artisanal or ethnic, personal or collective, its renewed link to technological production or fashion, currently lead to a dynamic redefinition of textile art. with projection in the world of contemporary art.
