Four experts in the field of artificial intelligence discuss the potentialities of the present evolution of this technology and the limits shaping it. Professor Jordi Torres, along with experts Mateo Valero, Alfonso Valencia and Karina Gibert, will discuss AI's evolution and potential future.
Thanks to advances in supercomputing, the development of new algorithms, and the availability of enormous quantities of data, the realm of artificial intelligence (AI) is expanding at an exponential rate. These advances are taking the form of ever more refined apps which, owing to their economic, social, and political impact, have given rise to the need for informed and mindful debate on the kind of AI we wish to have.
The discussion marks the publication of La intel·ligència artificial explicada als humans (Artificial Intelligence Explained to Humans, Plataforma Editorial, 2023). The live talk, moderated by the journalist Pere Buhigas, is programed as part of the Artificial Intelligence exhibition which is to open at the CCCB in October of this year.
Event will be held in Spanish and Catalan.
