The documentary The Lost Sons is a true crime-style thriller with dramatic overtones and unexpected plot twists. After investigating the figure of Harvey Weinstein and the events of Charlie Hebdo in her documentaries, filmmaker Ursula Macfarlane decided to delve into the loss of identity and the shattering discovery of the truth.

At the age of eight, Paul Fronczak discovers newspaper clippings in his father’s office about a stolen baby in Chicago, which they later found in Newark, New Jersey. His family confirms that he is the abducted child, considering the issue closed. It is not until many years later, when Paul has his first daughter, that he decides to undertake a media search to find out the truth about his biological family.

Film will be screened in English with subtitles.
