The Crab Apples, an indie pop-rock trio hailing from a town near Barcelona, began crafting their unique sound in high school and haven't looked back in over a decade. Led by Carla Gimeno on vocals, with Laia Alsina on electric guitar and Laia Martí on bass, they've embraced self-management and independence, releasing three albums and multiple EPs. Their music, traversing pop, grunge, electronica and rock, evokes a magical blend of light and darkness, always elegant and sometimes even sensual.
They've graced stages worldwide, sharing billing with music giants like Warpaint, The Beach Boys, and Nada Surf. Notably, they've been recognized for their excellence by the Keychange program, advocating for equality in the music industry. Last September, they dropped "Sin Ti," a single exemplifying their indie pop-rock prowess, marking a new chapter in their journey while underscoring their tight-knit camaraderie.
