Dust off your running shoes and get ready for one of the most popular races in Barcelona—the Cursa de Bombers.

The Cursa de Bombers has been celebrating the firefighters of Barcelona for over two decades, and each year hundreds of fully-equipped bombers run the race together with thousands of citizens. It is one of the most popular 10 kilometer races in the city and will celebrate its 24th edition this year on Sunday, October 22nd.

Starting at 9:00 and ending along Avinguda Marques de l’Argentera in the Born, the route follows the main thoroughfares of central Barcelona: Via Laietana, Gran Via, Avinguda del Paral•lel and Passeig de Colom.
