The Spiritual Film Festival of Catalunya presents a selection of the best modern spiritual and religious film production.

With the aim of inspiring interreligious dialogue and social cohesion, the selected films showcase the sensitivity of different religious denominations, as well as the dialogue between religion and current society. To contribute to a better understanding of the movies and invite the viewer to reflect, most of the sessions are accompanied by a presentation by specialists from the world of cinema and religious diversity.

This year the fest will take place in a hybrid format, with virtual sessions on the FilminCAT platform, Cinemes Verdi, Filmoteca de Catalunya as well as in movie theaters around Catalunya.

This year's edition features two main themes. The series Spirituality in the Face of Poverty allows us to learn, through seven films, how situations of poverty act as vital turning points and can be the engine of an unexpected spirituality.

The space Religion and Politics brings us closer to universes where religion and politics interact and build on each other, sometimes unintentionally and tangentially.
