For London music agitator Shabaka Hutchings, any of his projects is an opportunity to combat the clichés surrounding any musical style. But don’t take our word for it: Sons of Kemet's latest album, Black to the Future, has been singled out on all fronts as one of this year's greatest albums in any genre.

At the centre of this sonic earthquake stands a lone figure as the shaman of new jazz. The acclaimed saxophonist and clarinet player acts as the gateway to a vibrant musical fusions that goes beyond the limits of what audiences tend to think of contemporary jazz.

At this concert, Hutchings will be accompanied by accomplished musicians Moor Mother, Kojey Radical, and Lianne La Havas.
