Barcelona is renowned the world over for the pedigree of its summer music festivals, but there is one which consistently stands above the rest for the absolute quality of its lineup and the eclectic range of creative styles it covers: Sónar.

If dance music is your jam, then this year's event is for you, as once again Sónar has curated a veritable selection of styles for your listening pleasure. Whether it's thumping bass, club bangers, gritty garage or niche tunes from the farthest flung corners of the globe, Sónar caters for everyone. It's an inclusive romp that will have you craving next year's party the minute it is over.

Now in its 28th year, this festival of music, creativity & technology is set to be as exciting as ever with electronic artists flying in from across the planet to delight its equally international audience. Headliners include The Chemical Brothers, The Blaze, Charlotte De Witte, Jayda G, Headie One, Helena Hauff, AJ Tracey and many, many more. 

Through the day, punters can head to Fira Montjuïc to hear the vibrant tunes of people like Coucou Chloe, Depresión Sonora, Jyoty and Kiddy Smile, while during the night revelers will make their way to Fira Gran Via L'Hospitalet to rave to the frenetic sounds of Agoria, Critical Soundsystem and Venus X.

As ever, Sónar will be joining forces with some of the biggest organizations in dance music to curate their stages. Mainstays at all the world's greatest festivals, these colabs will make sure all the artists you hear of the highest caliber, keeping you dancing until you drop.

But Sónar is not just about the music; it's also a celebration of the cutting edge technologies that are transforming sound technology, showcased through its sister festival Sonár+D, held in the same venue over the same period.
