In 2017, two New York Times reporters published a journalistic investigation into the sexual abuse perpetrated by film producer Harvey Weinstein. This sparked the #MeToo movement worldwide and broke decades of silence on the issue of sexual assault in Hollywood. A fast-paced, gripping film about one of the most important journalistic investigations in recent times. Not recommended for spectators under 12 years.
The evening opens at 20:45 with live music with Alba Armengou Sextet. Alba Armengou, a Barcelonan singer and trumpeter, is one of the most promising new talents on the jazz scene today. Her versatile repertoire ranges from swing to Latin American folk, bebop, Brazilian music and much more as she takes her audience on a delightful journey through different sounds.
