Fundació Joan Miró Parc de Montjuïc s/n, 08038 Barcelona

Braguino, Clément Cogitore. (2017, France)
In the heart of the Siberian taiga, 450 miles from the nearest village, live the Braguine family and the Kiline family. The two families are self-sufficient and live according to their own sets of rules and principles and refuse to speak to each other. The village, inaccessible by road, is divided by a barrier. In the middle of the river stands an island where another community is being built, that of the children.
French director and artist Cogitore's shorts have been screened and won prizes at major international festivals. In 2015, he directed his first feature-length film, Ni le ciel, ni la terre (released in English as The Wakhan Front), which was selected at the Cannes International Film Festival - Critics' Week, where it won the Award for Distribution. Braguino won the Zabaltegi-Tabakalera Award at the San Sebastián International Film Festival.
