Scheherazade, composed by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov in 1888, is a symphonic suite based on One Thousand and One Nights. Its themes are a colorful orchestration of Eastern sounds illustrating a culturally beguiling Oriental perspective. It is recognized as Rimsky-Korsakov's most popular work, a masterpiece of orchestration and one of the most acclaimed works of Russian music in history.
Delve into a world of one of the most notoriously climacti stories of love this January at the L’Auditori.
