Enjoy the double bass of Ron Carter at this year's Voll-Damm Festival Jazz. Carter holds a Guinness Award for double bassist with the most recordings: 2,221 in 2015 (the number has increased, of course). He is one of the most influential jazz men in the history of the genre.
His impressive resume, in addition to his famous adventures with Miles Davis, includes recordings with Antônio Carlos Jobim, Chet Baker, George Benson, Eric Dolphy, Horace Silver, Milt Jackson, Quincy Jones, James Brown, Paul Simon and Aretha Franklin.
What else can be said about one of the last greatest jazz musicians? Ron Carter returns to Barcelona on a tour that could be the last one he does in Europe.
