A master of big band music and a leading figure in music teaching, the saxophonist Ramon Cardo has created a sextet with five colleagues linked, like him, to the Taller de Músics.Together, they explore the jazz repertoire for sextets, with the subgenre of hard bop as their starting point.

The Ramon Cardo TM Collective performs at the Jazz Festival l’Estartit, offering a program of original arrangements of the music of Wayne Shorter, Freddie Hubbard, John Coltrane, Horace Silver and Donald Bird, as well as their own pieces.
