In an explosive celebration of all kinds of love, one of the most popular and diverse Pride celebrations in Europe returns to Barcelona. Every summer since 2008, more than 250,000 people have taken to the streets. With a wide variety of activities, this huge celebration promotes self-affirmation, dignity, equal rights, sexual diversity and gender variance in the LGBTIQ+ community. There will be a multitude of activities including workshops and a recreation area, as well as a high heel race, drag race, parties, live music and the iconic Pride Parade.
This edition celebrates the LGTBIQ+ seniors that have paved the way for the generations that have followed. It's an opportunity to give visibility to their different realities, needs and desires, and to continue learning from their experience. Because Pride knows no age!
