Poor Things, Yorgos Lanthimos (USA, 2023)

Bella Baxter is a young woman brought back to life by a brilliant scientist, Dr Godwin Baxter. Under Baxter’s protection, Bella is eager to learn. Hungry for the worldliness she lacks, she runs away with a slick, debauched lawyer on a whirlwind adventure across the continents. An extraordinary, original, off-beat comedy starring double Oscar winning Emma Stone.

Film will be screened in English and subtitled in Spanish.

The evening opens at 20:45 with live music from Los Boozan Dukes, a street band specializing in French Creole music from New Orleans and the Caribbean.
