With nine albums released, including a stint on Jack White's Third Man Records label, Pokey LaFarge has never looked back. Drawing inspiration from Africa, South America and the American Southwest, Lafarge launched a body of work that married emotional lyrics with catchy melodies and an irresistible groove. 

This is how In The Blossom of Their Shade was born, which, unlike the melancholy of its predecessor, showed in a positive way that process of coming out of the darkness into the light, like the perfect soundtrack of a summer afternoon.
