The prestigious contemporary dance company Pilobolus looks back and presents re:Creation, a collection of choreographies recognized for having altered the panorama of dance and theater itself. Each presentation is a sensory experience in which the works range from the group piece Branches, meant to be a celebration of the world around us; or the majestic and fascinating trio performance On the Nature of Things, about the idea of desire and its intertwined connection with shame and revenge.
Since 1971, Pilobolus has pushed the physical capabilities of the body to the limit, exploring its beauty and power. Their multidisciplinary collaborations with some of the world's greatest artists and creators are significant. The company has created more than 120 pieces that have been performed in more than 65 countries. They have been live on Broadway, at the Oscars and at the Olympic Games, and have appeared in numerous television shows, films and advertisements.
Their recognitions include a Grammy Award nomination, a Primetime Emmy and several Lion Awards at the Cannes International Festival of Creativity.
