With the work Usual Suspects, Pep Sala for the first time offers up an album of songs that are not his own. In this work you'll find songs known to everyone, tunes that have always been part of our lives, but in a new version—a very personal reading with the sensitivity, elegance and subtlety of the language of jazz.

To do this, Pep has counted on the collaboration of the extraordinary trumpeter Raynald Colom. During the long days of confinement they began to occupy their time working on turning great classics around.

Now they offer us the opportunity to enjoy live, and in duet format, some of the wonders included on the disc, written by the greatest: John Lennon, The Bee Gees, Paul Simon, Van Morrison, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Billy Joel and more—all passed through the personal filter of Pep and Ray.

Also some completely unexpected song like "The One I Want" from the film Grease, which they interpret here in an absolutely amazing reading, or the fantastic "Everybody’s Got to Learn Sometimes" by the Korgis group, and the album's first single
