From spectacle to nature. To perform Max Bruch's incredible Violin Concerto, French violinist Alexandra Soumm returns to collaborate with the orchestra after their success together three seasons ago. Max Bruch composed his Concerto with the aim of leaving the audience glued to their chairs with their jaws left open. Through his composition, he wished to entertain, but to stir emotions and touch the audience's hearts. Moreover, Johannes Brahms composed the First Symphony which achieved great success, influencing his creation of the Second Symphony. This November, see Alexandra Soumm (violin) and Pablo González (conductor) perform Bruch's Concerto and Brahms's Symphony with the Franz Schubert Filharmonia at the Palau de la Música.
