After more than 30 years of professional experience, the Orquestra de Guitarres de Barcelona is an international benchmark in this type of ensemble, and one of the few orchestras in the world that performs its concerts entirely from memory, with programs that cover all eras in the history of classical music.

More than 150 guitarists from all over the world have been part of the Orchestra. Some of them developed a brilliant career as soloists, while some others were chosen to become part of the European Guitar and Mandolin Youth Orchestra, along with other musicians from Europe. The Orchestra has always been accompanied by prestigious soloists (O. Kobékina, cembalo, A. Voronkova, violin, O. Ponce, dance, etc.), who help create concerts and shows as great as the marvelous architectonic and artistic settings where the performances are shown.
