The Guitar BCN festival has the honor of hosting a very special concert to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the publication of Tubular Bells, an undisputed masterpiece of contemporary music. The event will feature Opus One, an orchestra of contemporary instruments carefully formed in order to perform the elaborate creations of Mike Oldfield.
Together with Tubular Bells, Opus One will offer the repertoire most appreciated by fans of the British artist: a selection of songs from the albums Five Miles Out, Crises, Discovery, Islands, Earth Moving and Heaven's Open with guest vocals by Barry Palmer and Anna Moon.
