Punk group Noah and the Loners is fronted by eighteen-year-old singer-songwriter Noah Lonergan (vocals and guitar), accompanied by Amber Welsh (bass), Joseph Boyle (guitar) and Noah Riley (drums). Noah and the Loners has something to say and they say it out loud. Their powerful songs capture the zeitgeist of Generation Z, from personal themes about teenage love and Noah's experience of toxic masculinity as a trans man, to political attacks on racism, corruption and the climate crisis. The band's sound is influenced by punk legends like X-Ray Spex, The Clash and Buzzcocks, but they also jump on the alternative bandwagon of current bands like Idles, Paramore and Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes.
