Mozart and his sister Nannerl were musical child prodigies. The family traveled thousands of miles by carriage from town to town to display the amazing talent of theses child musicians. By the age of 12, Mozart had already visited half of Europe and had premiered more than 40 works, including sonatas and symphonies. On his most spectacular tour, he left Salzburg at the age of seven and a half and returned just before his eleventh birthday.
In this session, hosted by the CaixaForum, David Puertas Esteve will present the works he composed in London, together with one of Bach's sons, and the first of the 41 symphonies in his catalogue.
