Japanese instrumental rockers MONO return to Europe this year. Having cited a variety of experimental, avant-rock and classical music artists as inspirations, they stated that their aim is to transcend genre, rejecting the post-rock label which has often been applied to them.
Hoping to bring their audience back together through music, MONO is working on a new album of which guitarist Taka says: "We are excited to once again be able to bring our music to you all in a live setting. We need the hope to reconnect, share that hope and enjoy each other's company once again."
The guest artist will be A.A. Williams, whose debut death-gospel album Forever Blue has made quite an impact on the underground scene.
