The show Maria Callas Letters and Memories places the voice of Maria Callas on center stage using documents and records not previously published; it's her story, in her own words through the different stages of her life

It begins in 1950 when she had her first performances and marriage to Meneghini. Then, in 1960 she met Onassis and it unfolds their love story, followed by eight years of separation. Her final years in the 1970s were full of nostalgia and loneliness. The accompanying music and her recordings work to link her letters and to mark the passage of time. Her warm voice and the spectacular transformation of Bellucci along with impeccable scenery and lighting, enable the spectator to visit the soprano’s dining room, in which her spirit appears again for a brief moment to share, as she says, a moment of intimacy with the audience.
