Tenor saxophonist Melissa Aldana debuted at the Voll-Damm Jazz festival in 2013 at the age of 24, shortly after she became the first female instrumentalist to win the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition.

Her third appearance at this festival comes after her recent signing to iconic jazz label Blue Note. Don’t miss one of the current jazz generation’s brightest lights, live onstage in the Conservatori del Liceu.
