Vic Vic

The city becomes, for a few days, a stage to recreate medieval times, with stalls distributed throughout the old town, offering visitors a wide and varied commercial offer: decorative items, jewelry, creams, medicinal herbs, clothing, accessories, sausages, cheeses, pastries or chocolate and so much more.
The cultural offer will again be headed by the play l'Assalt de l'Altarriba, based on historical events that took place in Vic in the 15th century, all staged in various sites around the city.
The commercial and cultural offer of the medieval market is complemented by multiple leisure activities, aimed to all-ages; activities for children, music, dancing and street performances fill these days.
New this year is the location of the recreations of medieval trades, where the visitor can see master craftsmen showing the a variety of craftsmanship techniquees. These will be found throughout the entire route of the Mercat Medieval. There will also be a new space exclusively dedicated to the sale of Christmas products located in the Plaça dels Màrtirs, where was held the Fira de Santa Llúcia. This space named “Ja és Nadal al Medieval!” will have a total of 20 exhibitors of Christmas products such as crib figures, tios, Christmas trees and Christmas food products.
Open both days from 10:00 to 20:00.
