Unclassifiable and captivating, this is María Luisa Ramírez—or Maui as she's known on stage—born in Utrera, one of the cradles of flamenco. With a different way of understanding this art, Maui dissolves borders and stereotypes with her music and a staging loaded with theatricality, rhythm, humor and that unmistakable stamp of her personality. Far from any known label, it has been said that she is the Björk of Utrera, the Lady Gaga of flamenco, the Woody Allen of the song—but she is simply Maui, one of a kind.

Maui presents in Barcelona Quererte a medias a theatrical concert full of rhythm, humor and unusual stories of love, heartbreak and life filled with songs in which poetry, dance and an invisible emotion coexist.
