The Matsuri festival returns with an extravaganza of all things Japanese!
The Matsuri is an annual festival inspired by the popular celebrations of Japanese neighborhoods and temples, in which processions, music and gastronomy play an essential role. The first edition of the event was held as one of the official events commemorating the 400th anniversary of Spain-Japan relations. Since then, the Matsuri has expanded its program of activities to spread traditional Japanese culture.
This is a free outdoor event for all ages. Get ready to be transported to Japan with performances from traditional drummers and Japanese folk dancers; join a workshop on Origami, karate or jujitsu; and bring your appetite because you are going to want to try some typical Japanese food!
