Marwán has been considered one of the main voices of author song in Spain and Latin America for almost a decade. 

He is a faithful follower of his references (Sabina, Serrat, Aute, Silvio Rodríguez, Ismael Serrano, Jorge Drexler, Pedro Guerra, Carlos Chaouen, Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, Nach, Residente, etc.) He has managed to cultivate his own sound, especially with his most recent album, El Viejo Boxeador. Here he abandons his pretensions and definitively surrenders to the artist he is: a narrator of very diverse stories that revolve around the existence of the human being and the world in which he lives, with his own unmistakable style and sound, full of beauty.
