Mansur Brown is the definition of a prodigy: a classically trained guitarist and multidisciplinary artist whose music balances virtuosic precision with a passionate expression of emotion. 

Born in Brixton (and still a resident of South London), Mansur's distinctive compositional approach blends an intricate, flamenco-influenced guitar style with highly original production ideas, influenced by Timbaland's rhythmic snap, the groove of Afrobeat, and the melancholic sound design of Burial. 

The guitar remains the center of Mansur's music, but it is by no means the only component. Straddling the roles of composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist, albums like Heiwa find him turning to keyboards, flute, saxophone and even singing.
