Madison McFerrin can be introduced, if you take the easiest route, by saying that she is the daughter of the famous jazz vocalist Bobby McFerrin, as well as the sister of Taylor McFerrin: renowned producer of futuristic soul and the creative mind in charge of playing the synthesizers and generating rhythms in R+R=NOW, led by Robert Glasper. But the easiest way is not always the best or most accurate way. She is also one of the most promising new singers of American Black music on the scene today, who knows how to combine the musical roots of the past with the sounds of the 21st century.

Though her work with hip hop and electronic group Binary Sol to her three a cappella soul-jazz EPs, she has attracted the attention of musical greats such as Chick Corea. Her debut album, I Hope You Can Forgive Me, was released on May 12th, 2023, with the advance singles "(Please Don't) Leave Me Now" and "God Herself.”
