Based in West London, Lord Apex is considered one of the biggest named in British underground hip hop, where he collected thousands of fans through the release of a dozen albums.

Lord Apex is the stage name of Shaeem Santino Wright, and is derived from the alter ego of one of his idols, the American Madlib — or more specifically, his alias, Lord Quas. Lord Apex often rejects being pigeonholed in any subgenre of hip-hop, even though comparisons and descriptions of his music that speak of lo-fi hip hop and equate him to J Dilla and MF Doom abound.

He proved himself touring with Freddie Gibbs and Action Bronson through the pure and genuine energy he exudes during his live shows. Now, he headlines a tour of his own.
