Long Live My Happy Head, Will Hewitt & Austen McCowan (2022, UK)

A tender, moving testimony about how art and creativity can act as a way of coping with illness. This heartwarming love story introduces us to Gordon, a comic book artist diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of 32. The documentary journeys through his drawings and cartoons to explore his experience as well as his concerns and reflections following the shattering news.

The film is a part of the Brain Film Festival at the CCCB, and includes an in-person presentation and post-screening with director Will Hewitt. Film will be screened in original version with Spanish subtitles.
